Dallas Cowboys Pre-season Opener!

The Dallas Cowboys beat the Denver Broncos in the last 15 seconds by a score of 24 -23.  They had to "go for 2" at the end because of a flubbed snap on the extra point of the previous touchdown.  Very exciting and maybe a good omen to be able to score when they need to.  

 

World Class Soccer at Cowboys Stadium!

Jessica and Lance came for a surprise visit and we took in a soccer game.  We watched Barcelona beat Club America (Mexico) 2-0.  It was great and we had great seats.  Check it out.

We did it! Mavs, world champs!

Most exciting NBA playoffs that I have ever watched.  It couldn't have happened to a better bunch of team mates.  The wife and I had a lot of fun this year with this one.  I have never been one to "jump ship" on a team before, everyone knows I am still a Cowboys fan, but this year I dropped the Jazz when we moved to Dallas and it has been fun.  We got to go to several games and got to witness the story unfold.

Stockton, the NBA's all-time assist leader, is the only player in NBA history to record 15,000 career assists and 3,000 career steals. On February 20, 1996, he became the all-time leader in steals in a 112-98 victory over the Boston Celtics. The 10-time All-Star (1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 2000) was named to five All-Defensive Second Teams (1989, 1991, 1992, 1995 and 1997) and led the NBA in steals in 1989 and 1992. Stockton was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996, and he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
